We are an older couple and we are passionate about poodles! We are experienced breeders and also qualified micro chippers and ultrasound pregnancy scanners. Nothing gives us more pleasure than to see our carefully reared puppies go off to loving permanent homes.
I have been working with dogs on behaviour modification for many years, and I have now achieved my diploma in Canine Behaviour Training which I passed with distinction. If you are having issues with your dogs behaviour, please contact me.

Quality Family Pets

Our Standard puppies are from K.C. parents who are fully health tested and vaccinated. They are intended first and foremost as companions but could excel at agility, showing and other fun activities. They all live in the house as part of our family and have lovely temperaments. Their non shedding coats make them ideal for allergy sufferers, but be aware that a small number of people may still have a reaction.

Carefully reared puppies

Puppies are handled from birth, regularly wormed and weaned onto an excellent puppy food and a bag of this goes with them to their new home. They have a full vet check at eight weeks old when they have their first vaccination and a certificate of health is given to new owners. They are well socialised with people and other dogs. They are used to household noises such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines!

Buying a puppy can be a mine field, and we aim to help you through the process in a sensitive way. We are always available by phone to answer questions and give support. We can also help you to choose the puppy that is right for you and your family. When you visit you will be encouraged to handle and play with the puppies in the comfort of our purpose built puppy play cabin.

Information about Merle Poodles

There are many, many people that adore the Merle Poodles as we do, but there are a few that like to spread false rumours about them. The Merle gene will have been introduced to poodles by using another breed way back in their lineage. This is how most breeds of dogs that we see today have been developed. I have found Merles to be healthy and unproblematic, but care must be taken not to breed Merle to Merle. This would produce double Merles which can have severe deformities. When Merles are bred responsibly, the result is happy, healthy Poodle puppies!

I am always happy to chat to people on the phone about possibly adding a poodle puppy to their household or about behaviour issues. Security is extremely tight with cameras, alarms and heavy duty alarmed locks on every door.Puppies are supervised 24 hours a day and well protected from thieves.

F.A.Q

Do I have to visit before reserving a puppy?

No, you don’t have to visit although it is better to meet your new family member before making a decision. For people who live a long distance away this may not be possible. I am happy to speak to people at length on the phone and can also do video calls to show you the puppies and their parents. If you then wish to reserve a puppy that’s fine.

Will my puppy be house trained?

Puppies are still very young when they arrive in their new homes and everything will be new and exciting. I have worked hard to get them paper trained, but it will take them a little while longer before they will consistently toilet outside and be able to go through the night and stay clean. Patience, kindness and lots of praise are required while they are learning!

What if I don’t have transport?

I am quite happy for people to organise a reputable pet courier to collect a puppy. Unfortunately we cannot deliver puppies ourselves as we are too busy looking after our canine family!

Will my puppy have a pedigree?

The aim of my breeding plan is to produce loving, friendly companion animals. They are not bred for showing or breeding. As far as I know all ancestors are pure poodles, some K.C and some not.  I  do not supply pedigrees or KC registered puppies. I do however provide details of parents health testing which I think is much more important.
